Book Your 2024 Lathe Barn Break Today

At Lathe Barn, bring your own tent, trailer tent or glamp in a bell tent. (unfortunately we cannot accommodate campervans or caravans at Lathe Barn). You can also stay together with your loved ones, as we allow bookings of up to five tent pitches or bell tents together. There is a 2-night minimum for all bookings on the weekend and a 3-night minimum for bank holidays.

Bring Your Own Tent

Stay your own way with tent pitches available at both our campsites. Enjoy an affordable escape, with tent pitch prices starting from just £15 per adult and £10 per child. Unfortunately cannot accommodate caravans or campervans at Lathe Barn.

Furnished Luxury Bell Tents

A fuss-free luxury option for your stay, with all the equipment you need for an unforgettable break. Prices start from just £130.

Pet Friendly Bell Tents

Make your space your own with an unfurnished bell tent, saving you the hassle of putting up and taking down a tent. Prices start from just £80.

How to Get to Lathe Barn

Ready to set off for your stay with us? Here’s everything you need to know to get here.

Travelling by Car:
Coastbound M20

At junction 11, exit and follow A20 Ashford Road to the next roundabout.  At the roundabout that the 2nd exit towards Hastings and Hythe, continuing on the A20 Ashford Road.

Continue on the Ashford Road until you come to the junction with Stone Street, where you turn left.

Follow Stone Street to the T-junction with Adington Road, then turn left.

Continue a short distance and turn right into Lympne Hill, and follow the road, over Botolph’s Bridge and until you come to a left hand turn into Donkey Street.  Continue along Donkey Street until you see us on the right-hand side.

Campsite Overview

You will soon realised why we opened our latest site just two miles inland from the captivating Dymchurch seafront. Lying on the eastern edge of the unique and beautiful environment of Romney Marsh and with stunning views over Lympne Castle and the surrounding hills Lathe Barn campsite provides the ideal location to get away from it all. The moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by natural beauty - but that doesn’t mean you have to give up those creature comforts for your stay.

Our Lathe Barn campsite features modern facilities, including a sparkling clean shower and toilet block, a well-stocked onsite shop, pizza nights and bar. You can book your stay in a luxury bell tent or choose one of our bring-your-own tent pitches.

We do the hard work, so you don’t have to. There are plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained, from bush craft to table tennis and weekly welly wanging contests. There's even their very own retreat barn where we show free kids films twice a week. And it’s not just the children we take care of. Adults can enjoy everything from yoga to axe throwing, with our quiet time in the evenings providing a tranquil setting to unwind in front of the campfire.
