Everything You Need to Know About Lathe Barn

Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm

Sunday: Closed

Check-in at our Lathe Barn site is from 2pm, with bell tents available from 3pm. To find out more about check-in, you can visit our arrival page here.

Useful Information

To help you get ready for your stay at Fallow Fields, we’ve put some top tips together. You can also find plenty of useful information below.

Check In and Check Out

Please arrive for check in at Lathe Barn between 2pm - 8pm. If you will be arriving later than this, we request that you call us to let us know in advance. We cannot accept arrivals after 9pm. On your last day, please check out before 11am.

Parking

Our Lathe Barn is a car-free campsite, so vehicles must be parked on our onsite car park. One parking space is included with each pitch booking and additional vehicles can be purchased for a £5 fee (limited availability). You will be able to drive up to your pitch to unload and pack up, weather permitting.

Group Bookings

To maintain our family-friendly atmosphere at Lathe Barn, we are unfortunately unable to accept large group bookings. You are able to book up to 5 pitches / bell tents.

Dogs

Your furry friends are welcome free of charge at Lathe Barn. Please just clean up after them and keep them on a lead at all times.

Please note, dogs are not permitted with furnished bell tent bookings.

Barbecues and Campfires

Barbecues and campfires are an essential part of your stay at our Lathe Barn. You are welcome to enjoy them, as long as they are raised off the ground in a fire pit. If you don’t have a fire pit, you can hire one from Fallow Fields. Furnished bell tent bookings include a fire pit.

You are only permitted to burn wood logs from Fallow Fields online or onsite shop, due to planning conditions.

Onsite Facilities and Activities

There’s so much for you to enjoy at Lathe Barn. We offer everything from activities, food nights and even a pop-up cinema onsite. You can find out more about things to do at Lathe Barn here.

You can purchase locally sourced food and camping essentials at our onsite camp shop. Campers at Lathe Barn also have access to sparkling clean and modern facilities in our onsite toilet and shower blocks.

Wi-Fi

Stays at Fallow Fields are all about switching off and getting back to nature. That is why we don’t offer Wi-Fi at our Lathe Barn campsite.

Complaints and Refunds

We want to make sure you enjoy your time at Lathe Barn. If you have any problems, please do contact a member of staff as soon as you can. You can find them onsite between 6.30am to 9pm, or in the shop between 8am to 8pm. Alternatively, you can contact us prior to arrival or after departure.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations, early departures or no shows. However, we may be able to accommodate amendments to your booking for a £15 administration fee subject to availability. You can find out more in our Terms and Conditions.

Lost Property

Get in touch with a member of staff onsite if you lose anything while staying at Lathe Barn. You can also call us on 0800 035 0002 and leave a message if it’s out of hours.

Emergency Support

If you experience an emergency onsite and need assistance, you can speak to a member of staff onsite. For out of hours emergencies, you can call 0800 035 0002 and leave a message. We check messages promptly and will respond as quickly as possible.
