Group Camping

At Fallow Fields, whether you choose to bring your own tent, or glamp it up in one of our luxury bell tents, we pride ourselves in giving you the best camping experience possible. We understand that camping is a great way to catch up with friends and family, therefore we are delighted to welcome small groups of up to 5 BYO pitches or bell tents with a maximum of 24 people.

For 2024 we have several weekends available without group size restrictions:

14th June - Lathe Barn & Selson Farm

21st June - Lathe Barn & Selson Farm - very limited availability

19th July - Selson Farm Only

16th August - Selson Farm Only

13th September - Lathe Barn & Selson Farm

All other dates we restrict group camping to a maximum of 5 families.

At both Selson Farm and Lathe Barn we have bell tents and pitches next to each other, so that regardless of your age, preference to set-up your own camp or have it all done for you, you can still camp next to your friends who maybe prefer a different camping experience.

When booking, each family should make their own booking in their own name and full contact details. Let us know you are camping within a group by referencing a lead or group name in the notes of your online booking or over the phone so we can allocate you pitches/ bells next to each other.

If you are booking on behalf of another family, please ensure you enter their details on the booking. You can enter your own payment details to complete the booking and if you would like a copy of the receipt sent to you directly, just drop us an email and we can forward this on to you.

We have lots of activities at both campsites to keep groups entertained, why not set up a game of rounders in one of our open spaces, or book the kids onto a bush craft session together. The Field Kitchen can accommodate orders for small groups and while you wait for your food to be freshly prepared enjoy wine tasting on a Friday evening or a drink from our Gin & Fizz bar.

Please be aware that we ask for noise to be kept to a minimum from 10.30pm to 7.30am. That doesn't mean you can't sit around a campfire in the evenings once the kids have gone to bed, we just ask that you keep chatter to a low volume and don't have music playing. Anyone not adhering to this will be asked to leave. This policy is to ensure little ones can get a good night’s sleep and grown ups can enjoy some downtime in the evenings.

Unfortunately we cannot accept groups larger than 5 pitches and/or bells, except on the group camping weekends detailed above. This is so we can ensure that everyone staying with us has the best experience and does not feel overwhelmed by other campers making excessive noise or taking over our communal spaces.
