If you’re looking for exciting activities that won’t leave a dent in your wallet, then we have you covered. We have lots of fun free things to do for the whole family at both our Selson Farm and Lathe Barn campsites.
We show family films every Saturday and on Wednesdays during the school holidays, starting at around 5pm-6pm. You can find out full details of what films will be playing from our team onsite.
Nothing quite compares to an afternoon spent together in front of the big screen. At Fallow Fields, you’ll have the opportunity to chill out and unwind as a family while enjoying some box office classics. It’s also the perfect way to relax after a busy day spent exploring.
Best of all, the films showing are absolutely free to view. There’s also no need to book, so you don’t have to worry about getting your hands on tickets. Simply show up and enjoy a fantastic film with your friends and family. Oh, and who can forget about the snacks? We have popcorn available in the camp shop so you can get the complete cinema experience
We have an outdoor table tennis table, with bats available in the shop. You can use it for mini tournaments or simply to brush up on your ping pong skills with friends and family.
We have swing ball, badminton, giant chess and more. Kids are also welcome to bring their bikes and cycle around the site.
At Lathe Barn we have a small indoor soft play, suitable for young children, as well as swings outside the Play Barn.
We also have a large seating area outside the camp shop and Field Kitchen at Selson Farm and the Play Barn or Marsh Kitchen at Lathe Barn. Where you can sit and relax or enjoy a cold drink, fresh barista coffee, ice cream or snack, while the kids keep themselves busy.
The Retreat is the perfect place for the kids to gather and form friendships. It’s kitted out with tables and benches with books, board games and colouring available for kids.
These competitions take place on Sunday mornings and are available for both kids and adults. Welly wanging is a serious sport - with the furthest recorded throw measuring in at a whopping 63.98m in Finland in 1996 – anyone likely to get anywhere near that length should probably warn us first. Our tape measure will be too short for sure.
