Campsite Manager  | Selson Farm

Seasonal role: Mid-April – Mid-September

Job Description:

We are recruiting a Campsite Manager (or Manager Couple) to help run a friendly, well-established campsite near Sandwich, Kent, for the 2026 summer season.This is a hands-on, responsible role suited to people who enjoy leading others, working outdoors, and taking pride in delivering a great guest experience.

About the Role
As a Supervisor, you will have responsibility for the smooth operation of the site during your shifts. You aren't just overseeing tasks; you are leading by example and "mucking in" to maintain our high standards.

Our managers are central to the smooth running of the campsite. You’ll be trusted to take responsibility for the site while you are with us, and to lead by example.

This is not a desk job — you’ll be visible, active, and involved in all aspects of campsite life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the guest experience and handling queries or issues confidently
  • Supervising and supporting the campsite staff during your shift
  • Overseeing daily operations: shop, facilities, accommodation turnarounds
  • Coordinating on-site activities such as arts & crafts and bushcraft
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the site
  • Overseeing the pizza kitchen and food/drink offer during service times
  • Identifying maintenance or operational issues and escalating where needed

You will be:

  • Confident dealing with guests and staff
  • Comfortable taking responsibility and making decisions
  • Happy to work outdoors and “muck in” when needed
  • Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
  • Approachable, organised, and reliable
  • Experience in hospitality, leisure, holiday park or outdoor work experience preferred, although not essential
  • Ideally you will have supervisory or leadership experience
  •  A can do attitude!
