Your active participation in tasks, whenever additional assistance is needed, is expected. Equally crucial is your capacity to take on specific management responsibilities when required, particularly in daily administration.

Guest Arrival & Hosting

-  Understanding the significance of a warm, positive customer welcome and ensuring your team consistently delivers it.

- The shop/reception serves as our central hub, attracting customers upon arrival and throughout their stay. Your responsibility is to ensure its smooth operation,offering excellent service.

Maintaining a continuous customer perspective is a critical skill we value.

Tasks Involve

  •  Booking administration, upselling activities, operating and managing an EPOS shop transaction app, making fresh coffee, and providing local information.
  •  Ensuring customers set up in the correct location and are informed about facilities and necessary health and safety considerations.
  • Enforcing these guidelines for both customers and staff.
  • Handling customer issues and communicating them to the technical support team for an appropriate response.

Preparation & Cleaning:

  • Campsite cleaning and maintenance, ensuring health and safety for both customers and staff.
  • Ensuring your team delivers our value-added activities, both complimentary and purchased.
  • Liaising and coordinating with third-party caterers.
  • Managing children's retreat areas, ensuring effective stock control, health and safety, and cleanliness by your team.

Staff Management:

  • Planning daily/weekly task lists.
  • Conducting and reinforcing staff training throughout the season.
  • Conducting one-on-one reviews with staff, supported by management.
  • Ensuring staff compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Daily liaison with the Support Team.

Other Duties:

  • Control and management of a small on-site bar.
  • Pre and post-season setup and pack down. Coordinating staff to open on time and close before adverse weather arrives.
  • Security and quiet time campsite walkaround, ensuring guests adhere to quiet time rules.
  • Managing suppliers, as required.
  • Completing accident report forms.

Person Specification- Essential:

  • Hardworking, diligent, responsible, and friendly.
  • Possession of a driving license and own vehicle.
  • Enjoy interacting with people, including children, with a strong customer focus.
  • Love for the outdoors and camping/living outside.
  • Physically fit and active, as lifting and moving heavy objects is required.


  • Practical with good general maintenance and DIY skills. • Some experience in the hospitality industry would be helpful.
