We’ve got lots of events planned for 2019 to make your camping trip that extra bit more special, we will be opening food and events for booking shortly, keep an eye on this page and our social media for details.

wood fired pizzaPizza night – Friday from 5pm
Stoned Pizza: Stone baked pizza, freshly prepared on site by Barney and his team in a wood fired oven. Lots of toppings available and gluten free option. Available between 5 and 8pm.

Breakfasts – Saturday, Sunday & Bank holiday Monday mornings
Tea, coffee and hot chocolate is available all week in the shop. On the weekend’s between 7:30 and 9:30am we serve fresh pastries, breakfast butties and pancakes!

SHout – Walk on the Wild Side Bushcraft 
Bushcraft sessions for kids and families – Every saturday of the season and Tuesday 28th May (Half Term holiday week)

1 hour sessions between 10am and 1pm and 2pm and 5pm. All day family Sessions available Father’s Day Weekend and Back to School Weekend.

Family, Kids & adult yoga sessions Saturday mornings throughout the season at 8am and 9am for 45 minutes.

Family session Thursday morning of May Half term holiday.

We provide the instructor and the mats. Sessions held outdoors in the orchard, weather permitting or in the Retreat tent.

Zoolab – Animal handling sessions
Suitable for kids of all ages.

1 hour session including a 20 minute bug hunt around the campsite, followed by a comparison and handling time with exotic animals and bugs.

9.30 – 10.30am Wednesday 29th of the May Half term and every Wednesday of the school summer holidays 24th July – 4th September

Pop-up Cinema nights

Every Saturday and Wednesday during school holidays

Free to view in our pop up cinema in the Retreat tent, fun for big and little kids.

Times will be advertised on site, just turn up, but don’t forget the popcorn!


Wine Tasting with Barnsole Vineyard – Friday evening
Barnsole is a boutique vineyard and winery run by Phil & Sally. The vineyard is located in the picturesque country village of Staple, about 2 miles from Fallow Fields, situated between the historic city of Canterbury and the delightful cinque-port town of Sandwich. Wines produced include Maidens Harvest Sparkling Wine, 2015 Kent White Classic, and a 2013 Barnsole Red Reserve.

No need to book in advance just come by say “Hi” between 6 and 8pm and taste some great Kentish wine and maybe take a bottle home! Find out more at barnsole.co.uk/

You’re not camping without a fire, pre-book your fire pit with your booking or give us a call in advance on 0800 035 0002 or add when booking.

We also have bags of wood and kindling for sale in our campsite shop, as well as marshmallows and lots of other campfire essentials.

The Fallow Fields Shop
We stock lots of local produce and other food essentials, camping basics & lots of things to keep the kids entertained.

You’ll  find the farms own apples and apple juice, meat from the local butcher and bread from the baker in Eastry.

We also serve fresh coffee, teas and hot chocolate as well as fresh pastries in the morning.



The Retreat
Kitted out with table and benches, filled with games inside and out, such as giant jenga, badminton and swing ball, as well as colouring in for all ages, this is the perfect place for the kids to gather and be entertained as individuals or groups. Its also a great social area for the evenings as somewhere to sit and relax away from your tent!

We also have a table tennis table in the communal area outside the shop.
