Terms & Conditions

In order for all guests to enjoy the Fallow Fields feeling we kindly ask all guests to respect the following terms and conditions at all times. We reserve the right to request guests, not observing these conditions to leave the campsite with immediate effect and without refund.

Please note: we DO NOT accept caravans, motorhomes and transit vans are only allowed on site with prior agreement. Small campervans are welcome.

COV-19 – All guests must adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines in place at the time of their stay. These will be updated regularly on the website and made available to guests prior to arrival. Anyone not adhering to these guideline will be asked to leave immediately.

Noise – we are a family campsite, please respect your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10.30pm, acoustic musical instruments are permitted for your own enjoyment, not the whole campsite, up until this time.

Tent pitches – We have pre-allocated pitches; there are 10m between all pitches (BYO & bell tents). We reserve the right to refuse 1) additional guests not pre-booked 2) guests if the details given are incorrect, 3) guests not adhering to onsite rules.

Bell tents – we have 15 furnished bell tents for hire, any damages or missing equipment must be reported ASAP and may be charged to the customer. We reserve the right to refuse 1) additional guests, 2) guests if the details given are incorrect, 3) guests not adhering to onsite rules.

Group bookings – we accept groups, but bookings are taken at the owner’s discretion; guests are advised that this is a family-friendly site and excessive noise is not tolerated. It is the responsibility of the person booking to make sure that the group is aware of the terms & conditions.

Unaccompanied adults – we do not accept bookings from unaccompanied adults aged 21 or under.

Dogs – well-behaved dogs are welcome on tent pitches (not in bell tents), but must be kept on leads at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the showers & toilets. Please observe areas of permitted access when walking dogs and clean up responsibly.

Payment – For bookings made after the 1st May 2020. A non-refundable deposit of 15% is required on booking and the balance payable 7 days prior to arrival. If a payment is not received 7 days before arrival the booking will be cancelled.

Refunds & cancellation – in the event of cancellation or early departure by a customer, we are not able to offer refunds.

Fallow Fields Camping will not be liable for refunds or expenses you incur in the event we are prevented from fulfilling your booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”). We recommend that you have a single trip or annual travel insurance policy in place in case of unexpected events.

Changes to bookings – where possible we are happy to amend and move bookings, subject to availability, however there will be a £15 admin fee applicable.

Arrivals – on arrival all guests MUST report to reception, regardless of whether someone in your group has already arrived. Arrivals are from 2pm to 8pm. If you are going to be later than 8pm please let us know and we will see if we can accommodate you. Please note we CANNOT accept early check-ins due to staffing restrictions.

Departures – please vacate by 11am on day of departure, pitches and bell tents must be left in the state they were found and be clear of all rubbish.

Parking – Cars MUST be parked in our car park, unless we have asked you to park somewhere else in adverse weather conditions. Please park with consideration of others, at busier times a parking area may be in operation.

Campfires & BBQs – must be off the ground in fire pits/ BBQs. Fire pits can be hired and wood purchased on site. You are not permitted to collect wood from the farm or adjacent woodland.

Speed limits – the speed limit is 5mph on the farm.

Farm safety – Please ensure you keep to the designated farm area for campers. This is a working farm and vehicles will be passing close to the campsite area. Please ensure your children are properly supervised and be aware of where your children are and what they are doing at all times.

Site damage – site facilities left in an unsatisfactory state, and any damage above reasonable wear and tear will incur extra charges.

Rubbish disposal – please keep the site tidy at all times and on departure clear your pitch / bell tent of all rubbish using the provided facilities. Please take home any broken tents and equipment.

Emergency contact – there will be a member of the fallow fields team available 24/7 for emergencies. This number can be found at reception and in your welcome info sheet

Liability – the owners of the farm and Fallow Fields Camping Ltd park are absolved of all liability for accidents to tents and guests and from any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
