Campsite Information

Who’s in – We are happy to accept tents, trailer tents and small campervans, (eg. small retro or modern VW’s, bongos, etc). We CANNOT accept caravans or motorhomes. We have grass pitches for tents and campervans. We DO NOT have electric pitches.
Tent/Campervan pitches –  We pre-allocate pitches and we do not segregate BYO pitches and bells tents, so you can camp and glamp together – you can see a map here.
Bell tents – we have fully furnished bell tents with equipment included for up to 4 people. We can accommodate additional guests for a small charge but they must be booked prior to arrival. Bell Tents are not equipped with electric, but furnished tents have a lantern included. We also have unfurnished bell tents available if you don’t fancy putting up your own tent but have your own equipment.
The atmosphere – We are a family focused campsite with lots of things to do for children and young adults in and around the retreat tent as well as activities at weekends and school holidays.
Children – We do not accept any under 18s camping without an accompanying parent or adult guardian of 21 or over. Proof of age will be required for any groups that appear to be under 21 and unsupervised and may be asked to leave if ID cannot be provided.
Groups – Small respectful groups are welcome to camp together. We cannot accept Stag, or Hen parties or single sex adult only groups.
Where possible we will keep bell tents together and BYO campers are welcome to pitch next to bells. Please note we CANNOT move bell tents and be be aware of our noise policy below. 
Noise & Consideration for others – We ask that noise is kept to a minimum in the evening after 10:30pm. We also do not allow music, even from a mobile phone. A classical instrument like a guitar is fine until 10:30pm. For full details see our T&Cs.
Dogs – well-behaved dogs are welcome on tent pitches (not FURNISHED bell tents), but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are free of charge.
Cars – we are a car free site in order to make it safe for kids to roam! Therefore once you have unpacked, your car MUST be parked in our on-site car park (next to the camping field) by 9pm at the latest so it is a safe environment for children. One car per pitch is included in the booking, additional cars are charged at £5 per booking.
Facilities – we have a small permanent toilet block (x2 toilets) and a newly built toilet & shower block for 2019 with 7 toilets, 8 showers and a disabled access toilet and shower. There are also 4 washing up sinks, and 4 sinks for washing / brushing teeth. All wash areas and toilets are cleaned 2-3 times daily and are stocked with toilet roll and soap.
Campfires & BBQs  – must be raised off the ground in firepits or BBQs on a stand. Firepits can be hired if you do not have your own.
Wood – Please note, campers are only permitted to burn wood supplied by Fallow Fields, online or from the camp shop. This is due to planning conditions that we must be able to guarantee only seasoned logs are burned. You are not permitted to collect wood from the farm or surrounding woodland.
Arrival time – between 2pm and 8pm. We CANNOT accept early arrivals. If you are going to be later than 8pm please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Our gate to the camping field shuts at 10pm so we cannot accept any arrivals after this time, but you will be able to enter and leave the car park out of hours.
Departure time – before 11am.
Shop – we have an onsite shop offering lots of food items; camp basics, local meat and produce, fresh coffee and ice-block freezer – for refreezing blocks. For full details click here.
Food and Drink – our catering unit, The Field Kitchen offers catering on busy evenings, Friday and Saturday nights all season and Wednesday – Saturday in the school holidays. Refunds – unfortunately we cannot offer refunds for cancellations, early departures or no shows. Where possible and subject to availability we are happy to move bookings to alternative dates, however there will be a £15 administration fee for doing so. See our T&Cs for full details.
