SHout Bush craft – 2021

Pete and the team from SHout have extensive experience working with kids and adults, are fully DBS checked with lots of professional qualifications in all aspects of bush craft and outdoor living. Sessions include archery, fire lighting and geocaching.

Saturday sessions start 21st May and run throughout the season until 18th September. Except 17th July due to Golf Championship weekend.

Wednesday Sessions available 2nd June and 28th July – 25th August.

Our bush craft sessions will take place amongst the fruit trees on the farm and limited to 12 spaces per session which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Strictly suitable for Children of 6 years+.
Children UNDER 6 years old cannot attend as our insurance will not cover them for any accidents and children should be physically able to walk long distances without adult assistance.

Unfortunately we are unable to make exceptions and children booked outside of these terms will not be offered a refund if we cannot accept them on the day.


Saturdays

3 hour session

2 sessions starting at 10am & 13:30pm

1.5 hour session

4 sessions starting at 10am, 12 noon, 2pm & 4pm

Archery – Learn how to safely use a Bow and Arrow with qualified GB Archery Instructors.

Firelighting – Learn how to light fires using different methods such as Flint and Steel, Wire wool and magnifying glass.

Geocaching – a high tech outdoor treasure hunting game. We have hidden geocache locations around the farm which children will spend time finding and giving them the opprotunity to have fun and explore the natural beauty of the Kentish countryside and learn about their surroundings in the process.


Book by logging into your customer account linked to your camping booking and add the event to your camping booking.

A max of 4 children can be booked online and should be booked by their parent/guardian.

**Due to strict ratios around covid-19, this year we cannot accept accompanying parents. If you wish to attend with your child, you need to book a space for yourself.**

Children should be dropped off to the camp shop 15mins before the session starts to complete permission forms.
