What's on at Fallow Fields

We’ve got lots of events planned for the summer to make your camping trip that extra bit more special, everything can be booked on arrival. Dates will be confirmed closer to the time.

Friday 21st July:

Pulled Pork wraps
Delicious pulled pork slow cooked freshly on the campsite. Veggie option of halloumi kebabs, both served in a wrap with side salads. Adult portions are £7.50 and kids £5.oo.

Book in advance and take the hassle out of setting up camp. Pre-order by emailing info@fallowfieldscamping.com by 12 noon on Thursday so you don’t miss out.


Wine Tasting with Barnsole Vineyard
Barnsole is a boutique vineyard and winery run by Phil & Sally. The vineyard is located in the picturesque country village of Staple, about 2 miles from Fallow Fields, situated between the historic city of Canterbury and the delightful cinque-port town of Sandwich. Wines produced include Maidens Harvest Sparkling Wine, 2015 Kent White Classic, and a 2013 Barnsole Red Reserve.

No need to book in advance just come by say “Hi” between 6 and 8pm and taste some great Kentish wine and maybe take a bottle home! Find out more at barnsole.co.uk/


Saturday 22nd July:

wood fired pizzaPizza night
Stone baked pizza, freshly prepared on site by Barney and his team in a wood fired oven. Lots of toppings available, Click here for menu and details on pre-ordering.

Pre-order by by emailing info@fallowfieldscamping.com by 12 noon on Friday.


Cinema night
Free to view in our pop up cinema in the Retreat tent, fun for big and littel kids. Click here for dates and films showing.

Times will be advertised on site, just turn up, but don’t forget the popcorn!



Week Commencing 23rd July:

Pizza Tuesday
Take out the hassle of camping and pre-order from Pizza GioVANni. All pizza’s are made with Caputo flour, San Marzano tomatoes & Foir de latte mozerella, imported weekly from Naples and cooked in a traditional wood oven.

Lots of toppings available, Click here for menu and details on pre-ordering. Adult portions are £8.50 and kids £6.oo.

Breakfasts at Fallow Fields Camping
Tea, coffee and hot chocolate is available all week in the shop or from the food van and on weekends we will be serving fresh pastries and breakfast butties; Bacon buttie, Sausage buttie, Full English buttie (bacon, sausage & egg), Scottish buttie (bacon, black pudding & egg).

No need to pre-book. More information available on arrival.


Kentish afternoon cream teas 
Freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam, served with a lovely hot cup of tea, in gorgeous kentish surrounds. All prepared and served by Lara, the farmer’s wife at Selson farm.

Stamp, clap, shake and rattle – Elliot will be offering free percussion fun at the Kids Retreat..

Fallow Fields apples and cherries

Various Dates – Fruit picking – £5 per adult & £2 per child
Cherries in July. Apples in August & September. Pears in  September.

Involves a tour of the orchards, where you will be taught about the fruit and how to pick them correctly. each person will take some fruit they picked home.

You’re not camping without a fire, pre-book your fire pit with your booking or give us a call in advance on 0800 035 0002 or add when booking.

We also have bags of wood and kindling for sale in our campsite shop, as well as marshmallows and lots of other campfire essentials.

IMG_4736The Fallow Fields Shop
We will be stocking lots of local produce and other food essentials, camping basics & lots of things to keep the kids entertained.

You’ll  find the farms own apples and apple juice, meat from the butchers and bread from the bakers in Eastry.

We also serve fresh coffee, teas and hot chocolate as well as fresh pastries in the morning from our food van. For full details on the shop, see our shop page.

Kitted out with table and benches, filled with games inside and out, such as giant jenga, guess who, badminton and swing ball, as well as colouring in for all ages, this is the perfect place for the kids to gather and be entertained as individuals or groups.

Its also a great social area for the evenings as somewhere to sit and relax away from your tent!
